A couple of small updates for you as you go about your week…

First, we’ve added Joyce Rees (Heron) to the lineup.  She’s from Jacob’s Well in Vancouver and is going to be dynamite.  Really, you’re going to like her.

Second, if your loved ones would appreciate attending the conference, why not buy them a pass for Christmas?  If you go here you can purchase registrations for others and we’ll send you a nice little Evolving Church: Kingdom Economy pass to wrap up for Christmas.,

Third, we commissioned Phil Nellis to put together artwork specifically for this conference.  Check it out here.  We think it's beautiful.

Cheers,

Epiphaneia Network

Evolving Church Announcement
Tuesday, 13 October 2009 20:44

The Evolving Church: Kingdom Economy will take place on April 10, 2010 with keynote speakers Brennan Manning and William Cavanaugh. We've also got a number of workshop leaders booked including David Dark and Becky Garrison.

The conference will take place from 8:00am-5:30pm and will be held at Peoples Church, Toronto, ON. We are still busy booking more speakers so it will be another full day of great content and conversation.

Economy comes from the Greek word oikonomia which means "house management" or "stewardship." It had to do with how one ordered their household. Now the word economy is used to describe how nations manage and order themselves and their values. Inevitably this tends to put money and power at the top and order everything else according to it. The Kingdom Economy is about reordering the normal order of things to better reflect the order of the Kingdom of God.

For more details about the theme, content and registration visit epconference.net So folks, open up your Outlook or ICal, grab your blackberry or day planner and write this down: "April 10, 2010 - Evolving Church".
